Tom Anzio Obit

Thomas Mark Anzio, 58, of Brighton Township, formerly of Hermitage, PA, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in Heritage Valley Beaver Emergency Room with his wife, Cindi, by his side.

He was born March 4, 1954, in Rochester and was the son of the late Carl Arthur and Elfrida Irene Beare Anzio. Tom had a successful lifelong career in tubular products sales, starting with Babcock & Wilcox in 1976 and then with Sharon Tube Company from where he retired in 2008 as Vice President of Sales of Tubular Products. He was the President of Hub Finance Company, Rochester, which his father founded in 1956. He was a 1972 graduate of Beaver Area High School, a 1976 graduate of Grove City College, a member of the F&AM St. James Lodge #457 and the Elks Club of Rochester. Tom was a hard working, sentimental man with a unique sense of humor, a good friend to many and a wonderful husband and father.

Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Cindi Staub Anzio and two children whom he loved and cherished, Evan Thomas Anzio, Columbus, OH and Anna Lee Anzio, Stow, OH; 15 nieces and nephews, including Mary and Thomas Anzio, both of Pittsburgh, and his wife's family, mother-in-law, Margaret Moravec Staub and sisters-in-law, Vicki Staub, Vanport; Patricia (Regis) McLaughlin, Beaver; Shari Pfender, Beaver; Teresa Owoc, Charlotte, NC; Laura Staub, Ft. Myers, FL and Amelia (Michael) Schlack, Vanport.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Arthur Anzio and his father-in-law, Robert 'Greek' Staub.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the TODD FUNERAL HOME, 340 Third St., Beaver. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. in SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Beaver.

Interment will be in Beaver Cemetery.

The family suggests friends may make contributions in Tom's memory to a charity of their choice.
