Judge Jimmy ruled in favor of the Hogs Softball player in the courtroom battle over “The Answer” nickname.  Rob ’The Answer’ Dronitsky contended that Allen Iverson isn’t entitled to a penny for dreaming up the  Hog’s player’s nickname “The Answer”.

Iverson alleged through his turncoat attorney, F. Lee, that Rob breached a promise to pay A.I. for coining Rob’s softball moniker in 2001, Rob’s rookie season.

Rob claimed that any value now derived from the nickname stems from his fame among Hog softball fans and the substantial media coverage on the Hog’s website.

Key Witness

Areno took the witness stand in Rob’s behalf and testified…”It was Rob’s superlative play for the Hogs Softball team and his captivating personality (a Hog favorite among the fans) that generated the publicity value into which Iverson and his lawyer would like to tap.” 

Judge Jimmy agreed. “All the value in the nickname is the product of Rob’s own effort, skill and personality.  He doesn’t have to ‘Answer’ to anyone. Rob can keep the nickname and all his future Hog endorsements, while Iverson will have to be content with Reebok.”  The courtroom exploded and the gavel was struck to maintain order.

When cornered and asked how he could possibly have targeted and sued a fellow Hog, F. Lee stated simply that he thought that Iverson’s knees would hold up longer than Rob’s, thereby having a longer-term client.
