Second Anniversary

By Webmaster Zip - April 1, 2002

On April 1, 2000 (April Fools Day), Hogrockcafe.com made its debut on the World Wide Web. Thanks to Dennis James, the domain name Hogrockcafe.com was obtained and server services were provided. After two years of free website services, Hog Rock Productions has finally transferred the website to our own server company. We will be forever thankful to Dennis and Rick Schirm for their contributions to Hogrockcafe.com. For better or worse, they put the Hogs on the Internet.
Website Reorganization and New Features
We begin our third year on the Internet with a reorganization of Hogrockcafe.com which is summarized below. Nothing has been deleted, but some things have been moved and we’ve added some new features.
Grand Reopening is a new channel. Visit here for all the details on the June 22, 2002 extravaganza.
Upcoming Events now becomes Events. All pictures from new or recent events will be located under Events. Pictures from Hooters, The Grand Opening, The Trial of the Millennium and Dirt’s Opening Day have been moved from Classic Pictures to Events. Classic Pictures is now dedicated to older, “classic pictures”.
Grand Opening now is located under Events.
Sigma Pi House Status now becomes Sigma Pi. Included are classic Sigma Pi pictures, house pictures, the 1971 house fire Triangle article, and the latest on the legal battle for the house. We hope to add more historical material and pictures.
Theta Chi is a new channel with historical pictures and a new picture page dedicated to the Best of Jammer. We hope to add more historical material and pictures.
Classic Café now becomes Archives. All home page material eventually winds up here, so if you’re trying to find older material, here’s the place.
Webitorial Page now is located under Letters. |
