History Lessons for Liberals
Dear liberal pinko brother Dan,

Pinko Brother
Thanks so much for your Iraq “history” lesson. Your misguided diatribe gives me the opportunity to simultaneously correct your misconceptions and to correct several widespread liberal lies.

1. Presidential Intelligence is Overrated
It’s true that Bush might not be as smart as Martin Sheen, Michael Moore or Susan Sarandon, even though he’s a Harvard MBA and none of the Hollywood bunch even graduated from high school.

High School Dropouts
History has shown us that Presidential intelligence is overrated. Acknowledged brilliant men like Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were disasters as President.

Brilliant Disasters
Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan weren’t the sharpest tools in the shed, but both proved to be great Presidents.

Dim-witted Greats

2. Viet Nam – Get Over It!
How long will liberals continue to whine about Viet Nam? Thirty years later every potential military commitment is still “another potential Viet Nam”. And now we have to listen to John Kerry tell us how he went to Viet Nam every time he gives a speech.

Johnny "Viet Nam" Kerry
The truth is nearly
every U.S. military conflict since Viet Nam has been a success. The world has
changed and liberals need to come up with a new justification for appeasement.

3. War is Good!
Since nobody else has the balls to say it, I will. War is good!

War Advocate
In the last 14 years, U.S. led wars have freed five countries from psychotic dictators: Panama, Kuwait, Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. Yes, I’m even counting Clinton’s Kosovo war which freed the world from Milosevic. I'm man enough to admit I was wrong for not supporting Clinton in this worthy cause. Are you man enough to admit you were wrong for not supporting Dubya in Iraq?

Man Enough to
Admit His Mistake?

4. Lincoln, Another Naive Liberal
Since you bring up Lincoln, I’m sure a history buff such as yourself knows that Lincoln was the 19th century version of Tom Daschle. His groundless attacks on President Polk for obtaining much of the Southwest United States during the Mexican War because we didn’t have “legitimate provocation” was as naive and unpatriotic as the clueless Daschle attacking Dubya the day the Iraq war started.

Two of a Kind
How Lincoln ever got elected considering he was a retired one-term congressman with no military experience and no other noteworthy accomplishments is still a mystery. To this day no other President had as little experience prior to election. Even the hapless Jimmy Carter was a one-term governor, if you count Georgia as a state.

Hapless Jimmy
5. Shed No Tears For Hollywood
I can’t tell you how bad I feel for the Hollywood anti-war crowd. These are people who make their living based on fan popularity, and then they are outraged when the same fans don’t support them when they say something stupid against our country. And speaking of stupid, how smart were the Dixie Chicks to criticize our President about an ongoing war when their entire fan base is a bunch of conservative, red neck hillbillies.

Stupid Chick
Dubya said it best, “Freedom is a two-way street”. Hollywood liberals are free to say whatever they want, but their fans are also free to desert them in droves when they say something stupid and unpatriotic.

Two Way Street"

6. The United Nations – What Is It Good For, Absolutely Nothing!

Edwin Starr didn’t get it quite right. Instead of war, he should have been talking about the United Nations. What is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Say it again!

Good For Absolutely Nothing
Say it Again
That is unless you want to count using phony UN sanctions against Iraq to obtain oil contracts for your country like France and Russia are doing. The U.N. is the most corrupt, bloated bureaucracy in the history of the world. It makes the Pentagon look efficient.

Model of Efficiency Compared to
The United Nations
The United Nations belongs with the League of Nations, Communism and Saddam Hussein, in the Dustbin of History.

7. It was Woodrow Wilson, Stupid
The premise that World War II was caused by the United States’ failure to join the League of Nations is, of course, ludicrous. World War II was not caused by Adolph Hitler, either.

Had Nothing To Do
With World War 2?
It was caused by liberal appeasers and most of all by an American President, Woodrow Wilson.

Primary Cause of
World War 2
The worst example of a naďve liberal and perhaps our worst President, Wilson used his new-found world influence at Versailles in 1918 to redraw the map of Europe creating such disastrous amalgams as Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia. His actions directly led to the creation of the Soviet Union and guaranteed an eventual dictatorship in Germany. Another liberal dedicated to appeasement, his decisions to keep the U.S. out of World War I until 1917 insured the death of 50 million Europeans. Thankfully, half of them were French!

8. Trumped Up Wars – Don't Forget Panama?
Your assertion that Granada was really just a beach food fight is probably not far from the truth, but the most trumped up war in recent history has to be Panama. Bush Sr. sent U.S. troops in to rid the world from having to look at the pimples on Noriega’s face. I still have no doubt this was a worthy cause even though millions of Panamanian drug users had to get a new connection.

I suppose you agree with John Kerry that
we need a regime change in Washington and not Baghdad. Luckily, America is not
ruled by the likes of John Kerry, Tom Daschle, Susan Sarandon, Martin Sheen, Natalie Maines,
Michael Moore and liberals like you. The stunning success of Dubya’s brilliant
Iraq war insures that the liberal appeasers will continue to be an out-of-touch,
futile minority.

Out-of-Touch Liberal Appeasers
Let me finish on a positive note. We totally agree that Kurds stink, but it's the stinking liberals who deserve to be flushed. Try flushing Michael Moore down the toilet!
